Dear reader, thank you for being here. You’re very welcome. <\/span><\/p>

There’s little doubt that you haven’t arrived on this page by chance. The common denominator of all those who find themselves here is curiosity, a thirst for knowledge and a quest for the truth. <\/span><\/p>

Although Champollion deciphered the hieroglyphs, there is a fundamental question that goes much deeper than the ‘simple’ deciphering of a language…<\/span><\/p>

Why did he tell his brother that he had discovered things that “had to be hidden under a bushel”?<\/strong> What he could not or did not have time to reveal, before his early death condemned him to silence and his brother refused to take over? What was it about his intimate knowledge of the hieroglyphic language that was so unsettling and potentially dangerous?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Osiris, Isis, Horus and Seth… are they simply deities, or do they wear masks? Is there an underlying historical significance to all the major events recounted in their myths? <\/span><\/p>
