fresco of a bull in the Marsoulas cave.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is one of ten examples of deciphering cited in the book, and further proof that the language of prehistory fresco.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Evidenciation<\/span><\/h3><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Here are the various signs that Andr\u00e9 Leroi-Gourhan identifies as also coming from the Marsoulas cave, according to his references (200 and 198).<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"88\" height=\"74\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15077\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"71\" \/><\/p><p>The sign I&#8217;m interested in explaining is <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"31\" \/>.<\/p><p>Please note that it is different from the one already seen <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15097\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"27\" height=\"34\" \/> on the fresco of the large Marsoulas panel, since its left tooth is perfectly straight, whereas that of the large Marsoulas panel is curved, which, as we have seen, gives the sign<strong> \u0161u <\/strong>or <strong>tak.<\/strong><\/p><p>What then is the signified of this sign <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"31\" \/> ?<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" name=\"_Toc150959848\"><\/a>Meaning<\/span><\/h3><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" name=\"_Toc150959849\"><\/a>In proto-cuneiform<\/span><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>To understand it, I refer you to the proto-cuneiform sign N\u00b020A of the comparative table in the appendix and to its multiple declensions:<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15107\" sizes=\"(max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px\" \/><\/p><p>Signs transliterated <strong>gal<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a><\/strong> meaning &#8220;great, powerful&#8221; and designating &#8220;a leader&#8221;<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a> .<\/p><p>This sign is found, for example, in the royal name &#8220;<strong>Lugal-dalu<\/strong>&#8221; in proto-cuneiform script, with the same name in its stylized cuneiform form on the right:<\/p><p>.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15117\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image6-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"154\" \/><\/p><p>According to the CNIL, the ideogram for <strong>Lugal is <\/strong>also given for <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15127\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image7-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"54\" \/>or <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15137\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"38\" height=\"53\" \/> <a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a> and means &#8220;a king, a master&#8221;.<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\"><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/a><\/p><p>So it&#8217;s very simple.<\/p><p>Frankly, you don&#8217;t have to be a graduate of Saint-Cyr to realize this, provided you&#8217;re familiar with, or even remotely interested in, archaic ideographic scripts.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><a name=\"_Toc150959850\"><\/a><strong>In Hittite hieroglyphs<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Proof, if any were needed, of its meaning this time in Hittite hieroglyphics.<\/p><p>Indeed, <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15147\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image9-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"54\" height=\"60\" \/> is the sign for the Latin dominus, meaning &#8220;master&#8221;&#8230;<\/p><p>So I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s worth adding to the list.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" name=\"_Toc150959851\"><\/a>Proto-Elamite<\/span><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This sign is found in proto-elamite in the form <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15157\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image10-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"38\" height=\"55\" \/>(sign M38a).<\/p><p>Even if this script has not been translated, it is almost certain that this sign has the same meaning as in proto-Cuneiform (given the close temporal, cultural and geographical proximity between Sumer and Elam), even if it is not necessarily pronounced the same way.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3><a name=\"_Toc150959852\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">DECIPHERING THE CAVE FRESCOE\u00a0 REFERENCED N\u00b0 200 by A. LEROI GOURHAN<\/span><\/h3><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Of course, it&#8217;s more than obvious that this sign <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15167\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image11-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"47\" height=\"48\" \/> applied to the bison <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image12-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"138\" height=\"116\" \/> designates a king, a ruler, a master.<\/p><p>This is perfectly in line with what we said earlier, that the primordial father was venerated, adored, deified in the animal form of the wild bull, the auroch, the bison as the father of the gods or the supreme divinity.<\/p><p>Note that this figure <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15187\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image13-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"47\" height=\"48\" \/> includes not only but also the two horns <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15197\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image14-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"22\" height=\"41\" \/> whose meaning we (now) know (<strong>a <\/strong>= father).<\/p><p>Please also note that the sign <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15207\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image15-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"21\" height=\"52\" \/> transliterates as <strong>gi\u0161 <\/strong>in proto-cuneiform<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\"><sup>[6]<\/sup><\/a> .<\/p><p>As for the sign of the rib\/moon <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15257\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yvar-bregeant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image20-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"52\" \/>\u00a0<strong> (ti <\/strong>in Sumerian <a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\"><sup>[7]<\/sup><\/a><a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\"><sup>[8]<\/sup><\/a> ;
